Office of the Comptroller - Financial Planning
... why is there is $22,000 increase in the budget allocated to Finanacial Planning? In 2005/2006, $78,000 was allocated, and now there is $100,000 budgetted. Mayor Picard used to work for Amex Financial Planning - is there any connection there?
It's quite possible that it's a commission-based position - meaning, that technically, he still is affiliated with American Express, but just 'inactive'.
I should mention in all fairness, I do not know WHO the city will be using for financial planning... but I'd be interested in knowing if it is American Express.
I am a West Haven, CT resident, who shall remain nameless. While I am registered as a Republican, I'm NOT a partisan voter, and vote with my conscience. I do not represent any political concern, but instead am interested in trying to understand the politics of West Haven from a layman's perspective. Where I can, I'm trying to separate the fact from the fiction - please DO contact me to let me know if I have my facts wrong, and point me to the sources that I can use to correct my mistakes.
